Where is the power button on a Sole Elliptical?

If you want to know how to turn your Sole Elliptical off, you need to know how to turn it on in the first place. In a nutshell, you only have to plug the machine into an outlet, press its power switch, and stand on it. 

The reason for that is that many ellipticals are movement-powered, so standing on them and stopping to move is what makes the whole machine start. You can use the machine’s console to adjust different things, such as the elliptical’s speed and time trackers.

If you want to turn off your sole elliptical, the only thing you need to do is to gently stop to move and get off it.

But the display mode will not turn off automatically, to exit the display mode, for normal operation, press and hold the STOP, ENTER and DISPLAY keys for five seconds; the display will show: DISPLAY MODE – ON. Use the speed UP key to change the setting to OFF then press ENTER.

Unplugging it directly before properly turning the machine off is dangerous for the machine itself, and it can cause the electrical components to wear prematurely.

There are many reasons why your Sole Elliptical may not turn off, but it’s most likely due to a malfunction, or that your machine may still be connected to bluetooth. One of the main ones is that your batteries may be getting to the end of their lifespan

Try changing your Sole Elliptical batteries and see if the machine starts working properly again.

Since the Sole Elliptical works with sensors that activate when noticing movement, your machine may not turn off if it has a loose crank arm. Fortunately, you can address that issue by removing its covers and making sure the crack arms are well lubricated, realigned and against the machine’s frame.

The machine’s instructions show how to readjust this component, so don’t worry about not doing it properly. 

However, you can always ask the manufacturer or a gym equipment engineer to check your machine to see if anything else happens with it.
