Where Do I Plug NordicTrack Elliptical Power Cord?
Safety First
Before plugging in your NordicTrack elliptical, make sure the machine is fully assembled, on a flat surface and properly earthed/grounded. Being grounded reduces the risk of an electric shock because it provides a path of least resistance for an electrical current.
Do not attempt to modify the plug if it does not fit in your outlet at home, if you are unsure whether the product is grounded properly you can contact a qualified electrician. Improper connection of the NordicTrack elliptical power cord can increase your risk of an electric shock.
Where is the plug on a NordicTrack Elliptical?
Depending on the model of your NordicTrack elliptical model will determine where the plug is located.
- At the bottom of the unit where the oval metal frame is. Right in the centre below where the moving arms sit is the location of the power cord unit.
- At the front of the machine where the flywheel sits. The NordicTrack elliptical power cord goes into the front at the bottom of the plastic housing.
- Similar to the front drive but this time at the back of the machine where the flywheel sits. The NordicTrack elliptical power cord goes into the back at the bottom of the plastic housing.

Now that you have found the location of your NordicTrack elliptical plug you can now plug the indicated end of the power cord into the socket into the frame. Once this complete plug the NordicTrack elliptical power cord into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and earthed with local codes and ordinances.

It’s important that when you are not using your NordicTrack elliptical or cleaning the machine, the power switch is in the off position. If you don’t do this then the electrical components in your elliptical may start to wear and cause NordicTrack elliptical problems.
